Hello, my Name is Javier Chernicoff

I was born on April 6, 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and grew up there. I come from an Argentine family of artists. With the age of 12, I began teaching at the drums. At the age of 18 years, I began to study with Junior Cesari, one of the most important drummers and teachers of South America that has shaped my musical over the next seven years and shaped.

Starting in 1986, I started to play professional drums, and from then on played with several musicians in various music styles:
Brazilian, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Candombe, Salsa, Latin Jazz, Tango, and others, with a particular specialization in Latin American music. At the same time, I began to work on the pedagogical and wrote a book on the drums methodology specifically for Tango.

In 2001 I came to the UK and worked in several projects. This time of the activity, I was invited to perform at various Festivals in Europe was characterised by extensive travel.

In 2003, I came for personal reasons, to Germany. Since then, I work with re-intensified educational, gave Workshops in different music schools in the country and in Italy. September 2005, I taught in the music school in Arnstadt, Germany, and Bad Hersfeld, In the Moment, in the music school in the Werra-Meißner-Kreis. And, of course, am on the road Cooking with my program "The rhythm!"
